Job summary
Eversource Energy in Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Specialist to design and optimize the Hazard Awareness Training program within the All Hazards Emergency Response Plan. You will train municipal responders, manage emergency response data, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, integrated emergency plans across transmission, electric, and gas systems.
Travel between MA/CT/NH may be required.
Qualifications
- Requires a BS degree in engineering, business, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Advanced knowledge of NIMS/ICS and incident command concepts.
- Experience designing and delivering emergency preparedness training.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Leads development, implementation and improvements to Hazard Awareness Training.
- Primary trainer for municipal public safety personnel on Eversource emergency response.
- Leads processes to restore service and communication during emergencies across systems.
- Maintains documentation and drives change management in ERPs and related plans.
- Interfaces with municipal partners and internal teams on training initiatives.
