Job summary

The Emergency Preparedness Planning, Program Manager at Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation leads the development and maintenance of Emergency Plans across Avangrid companies. You will coordinate with leaders to ensure plans are current and available for training, exercises, and real-world events.

This role reports to the Director of Emergency Preparedness, requires cross-functional leadership, adherence to planning standards, and strong organizational and communication skills to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 7 years experience or Associate’s degree + 10 yrs experience.
• 7 years relevant experience required.
• Experience facilitating cross functional teams through a planning process.
• Strong experience with project management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and update emergency plans using deliberate planning process.
• Train plans and evaluate updates during exercises or real events.
• Manage inventory and maintenance schedules for plan compliance.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and planning sessions.
• Manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders to meet program goals.
• Budget and contract management for the program area.
• Develop clear communications and presentations for varied audiences.
