Avangrid is seeking a Program Manager for Emergency Preparedness Planning in Connecticut. You will lead the development and upkeep of Emergency Plans, collaborating with leaders across Avangrid to ensure plans are Training-ready, compliant, and updated for exercises and real-world events.

This role reports to the Director of Emergency Preparedness and requires strong facilitation and organizational skills. Responsibilities include planning, training coordination, plan management, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams through a planning process.
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute deliberate planning processes to update or develop emergency plans.
• Coordinate training and exercises, and implement lessons learned.
• Track plans and maintenance schedules to meet external due dates and internal requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional planning sessions with diverse experts.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and expenses for the program area.
• Communicate clearly to diverse audiences and prepare executive materials.
• Collaborate with team members across Avangrid companies.
