Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic license required and active in the state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 6 months unless exempted by leadership.
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Services program.

Responsibilities

• Document information and promptly communicate observations to the licensed clinician.
• Assist in medication administration under supervision and support ventilator operations.
• Assist in emergencies under supervision and notify RN/physician of patient changes.
• Support teaching and document patient education in the EHR.
• Coordinate communications (phone, paging, EMS) to facilitate patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and proper equipment function.
