Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled EMS professional to join our team in Milwaukee. The role involves delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of licensed clinicians, administering medications, and assisting during emergencies.

You will participate in care coordination and patient-family education while ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR. Required EMS program completion with EMT-Paramedic licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Emergency Medical Services program is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) Certification expected within 6 months.
• ACLS Certification expected within 6 months.
• PALS Certification expected within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Document information and promptly communicates observations to the licensed clinician.
• Under clinician direction, prepare and administer medications and assist with procedures.
• Assist in emergencies and notify RN/physician of changes in patient condition.
• Support teaching to patients/families and document in medical records.
