OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a Hospital Paramedic for the South OKC Freestanding ED. This full-time mid-shift role (1p-1a) requires 1 year of direct ED experience and an Oklahoma paramedic license. Under physician supervision, you’ll provide emergency medical care and support decisions.

You will perform patient assessment, vital signs, IV/IO access, ECG monitoring, lab collection, and documentation, ensuring high-quality care and safety. OU Health offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Paramedic Training Program required.
• 2 years of hospital and/or pre-hospital experience required.
• Paramedic License (OK) and NREMT Certification required.
• BLS required; PALS and ACLS within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Provide care per OU Health policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with patient/family and healthcare team on treatment plan.
• Maintain clear communication with attending physician and nurse.
• Observe and report patient signs or symptoms.
• Assist nurse in delivering and documenting care; ensure patient safety.
• Establish IV/IO access and monitor cardiac rhythm per protocol.
• Prepare patients for physician care and collect routine specimens.
