Job summary

OU Health in South Oklahoma City is seeking a Hospital Paramedic for the South OKC Freestanding ED, mid shift from 1p to 1a, full-time. The role provides emergency patient care under ED physician direction and collaborates with nurses and the healthcare team to stabilize and transport patients.

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining patient care, administering medications per protocols, obtaining vitals, drawing labs, IV/IO access, EKGs, and communicating clearly with the care

Qualifications

• Paramedic Training Program required.
• 2 years hospital and/or pre-hospital experience required.
• Paramedic License (OK) and NREMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Monitor vital signs and document care accurately.
• Attach monitors, perform 12-Lead EKGs, and report findings.
• Establish IV/IO access and administer medications as directed.
