Job summary

TMC Bonham is seeking an ED Paramedic to provide high-quality care for patients of all ages within the emergency department. The role supports the ED physician and RN team, performing essential emergency procedures and data collection.

Responsibilities include ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and initiating approved protocol orders within the ED. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with RNs and medical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• 1 year experience as a Paramedic in a pre-hospital environment; hospital experience preferred.
• Licensed Paramedic (LP) or EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) in Texas; BLS Provider course completed; ACLS and PALS within 90 days.
• Interfaces with various healthcare workers, physicians, patients and family members.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients of all ages in the ED.
• Perform ECG interpretation and IV therapy.
• Initiate approved protocol orders and guidelines for ED patients.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver patient care.
• Ensure safety and accurate data collection and charting.
