Job summary

The Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, within Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a Paramedic to provide high-quality care under the Medical Director's direction. You will participate in patient assessment, monitoring, and treatment across ages in the ED, working with RNs and physicians.

Responsibilities include ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and initiating protocol orders while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the care team during shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Licensed Paramedic (LP) or EMT-P in Texas required.
• 1 year experience as a Paramedic in a pre-hospital or hospital environment preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification and ECC Provider courses to be provided during orientation or prior to working in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the Medical Director in the ED for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with RNs and Medical Providers to deliver patient care.
• Perform ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and initiation of protocol orders.
• Ensure environmental and personal safety and accurate charting while delivering care.
