Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, business, government, or related field; two years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to create plans addressing institutional needs, effectively write plans, policies, and procedures, and assist others in applying them.
• Emphasis on emergency management principles, risk assessment, and coordination with university stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency planning and operational functions using an all-hazards approach.
• Provide event assessment for planning resources, and communicate university policies to stakeholders.
• Assist with activation of the Emergency Operations Center during emergencies and crises.
• Develop annual and multi-year operational development plans and site assessments.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and officials to address emergency needs.
