The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, 3 years ED RN experience, and demonstrated teaching experience, with PA RN licensure or eNLC, CPR certification, and background clearances.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years RN experience in Emergency Department.
• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• 1 year demonstrated formal or informal teaching experience.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state eNLC.
• CPR - American Heart Association.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Additional Employment Requirements: CPR - American Heart Association, Act 34, Act 33, Act 73.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Develops, implements and evaluates educational plans/programs and uses tools to measure learning goals.
• Serves as a consultant for staff in program development, clinical practice and professional development.
• Participates in coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
