Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Emergency Department seeks a Registered Nurse to assess and care for adults and pediatrics in a fast-paced setting. You will lead clinical practice, coordinate with physicians, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient-centered communication.

You will participate in continuous quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff mentoring to support a high-performing team in a Magnet-designated health system.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Preferred: certification in your specialty area.
• Clearances: Act 34, Act 33, Act 73, FBI fingerprinting, and CPR certifications as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality care.
• Assesses patient conditions, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care per policy.
• Promotes patient safety and participates in quality initiatives.
• Mentors and supervises staff within the department.
