Job summary

Alford Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform emergency mitigation and restoration across residential and commercial properties. You will assess water damage, set up drying equipment, perform controlled demolition, and ensure work meets industry standards.

You must handle hazardous environments safely, communicate clearly with customers, and be available for after-hours on-call shifts. Travel within the territory and strict adherence to procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and hazardous conditions.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water losses and perform mitigation services.
• Conduct inspections and assess water damage using moisture detection equipment.
• Extract standing water and remove damaged materials.
• Perform controlled demolition (drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry, etc.).
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.
• Apply antimicrobial and cleaning treatments as required.
• Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and properly contained.
• Communicate with customers regarding the restoration process.
• Load and maintain equipment and vehicles.
• Follow company procedures and IICRC standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response.
