Job summary

Alford Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform mitigation/restoration at residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, or storm damage.

You will respond to emergencies, assess damage using moisture meters, extract water, and set up drying equipment while following IICRC standards. Work includes occasional after-hours and weekend on-call, field travel across the territory, and interaction with customers to explain the restoration process and maintain

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to respond to emergency scenarios and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water losses and perform mitigation services
• Inspect water damage with moisture-detection equipment
• Extract standing water and remove damaged materials
• Perform controlled demolition as needed
• Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers/dehumidifiers/air scrubbers)
• Apply antimicrobial treatments and cleaning solutions
• Maintain safe, clean, contained job sites
• Communicate restoration steps to customers
• Load and maintain equipment and vehicles
• Follow company procedures and IICRC standards
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies
