Job summary

Thompson Restoration Associates in Columbus, OH seeks a Mitigation Manager – Lead Emergency Services & Restoration Operations to oversee EMS, board-up, and contents projects. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will drive operational excellence, manage project financials, and mentor a field team.

You will build client relationships, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate with insurers, and maintain documentation and training programs across Central Ohio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management and emergency mitigation.
• Knowledge of safety practices for hazardous environments (mold, lead, sewage).
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee emergency mitigation projects from planning through sign-off.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate field staff.
• Manage project financials, profitability, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with insurers for estimates, sales, and billings.
• Ensure compliance with IICRC, OSHA, and safety protocols.
• Conduct team training and document audit of site records.
