Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for Gulfport, MS to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, no-nights, Monday–Friday daytime schedule with part-time or full-time options, allowing a calmer clinical rhythm while applying your ED skills.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, participate in wound protocols, and collaborate with care teams in post-acute settings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practice state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No previous wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
• Follow patients through healing and build ongoing patient relationships.
