Skilled Wound Care in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, no-night schedule with weekday daytime hours and no rotating shifts.

You will perform bedside procedures, manage acute wounds, and collaborate with post-acute teams, with the option for full-time or part-time work and an independent contractor compensation model.

Formación

• MD or DO with a valid medical license in Louisiana.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; prior wound care experience not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with SNFs and post-acute teams to follow healing.
