Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Gulfport, Mississippi. This role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule with part-time or full-time options, and compensation ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time employment.

You will lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities, performing debridement and bedside procedures with comprehensive training. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy and improved documentation with a focus on healing

Competenze

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome Internal Medicine physicians and hospitalists, etc. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training

Mansioni

• Surgical debridement and other bedside procedures, with full training provided
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Management of underlying conditions that affect wound healing
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
