Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Wound Care Physician in Gulfport, MS to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. The role offers no nights, no weekends, and flexible full- or part-time options, with hands-on procedures and training provided.

You will evaluate and treat chronic wounds, perform debridement, and work with a collaborative post-acute team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Residency and board certification/eligibility not required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols for care.
• Collaborate with teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
