Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for Gulfport, MS. This role offers a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no nights and no on-call requirements, with full-time or part-time options. Physicians will perform wound-related procedures, lead wound care initiatives, and collaborate with SNFs across the region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care during daytime hours and manage acute presentations.
• Perform wound care procedures and debridement as part of daily practice.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute teams to coordinate care.
• Lead wound care initiatives and improve clinical workflows.
