Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks emergency medicine physicians for a full-time faculty role at the rank of Instructor/Senior Instructor. Positions may be at UCHealth sites or via virtual platforms.

Applicants should be excellent clinicians who collaborate within teams to provide high-quality emergency care. Responsibilities include ED attendings at approved sites, leading safety/quality projects, CME completion, and possible committee work.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Completion of an emergency medicine residency.
• Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of fellowship training in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an attending in the emergency department at approved sites, including virtual care.
• Lead patient safety/quality initiatives and participate in at least one project annually.
• Participate in rotating sick call coverage per guidelines, if applicable.
• Complete CME per departmental guidelines.
• Serve as a committee member as needed by the Department or site on an ad hoc basis.
