University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, CO seeks Academic Emergency Medicine physicians for open-rank appointments (Assistant/Associate/Professor). The role combines patient care with bedside teaching of residents and medical students at major CU Hospital sites.

The position emphasizes scholarly activity, research, and involvement in administration/operations, with opportunities across subspecialties and education. Onsite work in the Denver metropolitan area is required.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Completion of an emergency medicine residency.
• Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
• Doctorate Degree.
• Applicants will have some successful teaching experience and will be expected to teach and/or provide clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Participate in clinical activity that supports promotion per the Faculty Handbook.
• Serve as an attending in the emergency department at approved sites.
• Participate in rotating call schedules and CME as required.
• Contribute to departmental and practice site committees.
