Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking part-time Open Rank Adjoint Instructor or Adjoint Senior Instructor in Emergency Medicine. The role will operate as a part-time clinical faculty member at UCHealth sites, including possible virtual platforms, delivering high-quality emergency care.

The candidate should be an excellent clinician, capable of leading teams and contributing to teaching residents and medical students, with duties spanning on-site attendance and quality

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Medical License or ability to obtain before start date.
• Emergency medicine residency completed.
• Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
• MD or DO degree; willingness to practice in multiple UCHealth sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend in the emergency department at approved sites, including virtual care.
• Lead or participate in patient safety, quality, and patient experience projects annually.
• Rotating sick call coverage per site guidelines and CME participation.
• Serve on committees as needed by the department or site.
