University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks physicians for open rank emergency medicine faculty positions at Instructor/Senior Instructor levels across UCHealth sites, including virtual care options. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and leadership in quality and safety initiatives.

The position is onsite in the Denver/Aurora metropolitan area with broad opportunities to contribute to patient care, education, and department-wide projects.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Colorado Medical License or obtain before start date.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board prepared or certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending in the emergency department at designated sites.
• Lead or participate in at least one project annually to improve safety, quality, and patient experience.
• Contribute to rotating sick call coverage per guidelines, if applicable.
• Complete CME per departmental guidelines.
• Serve on departmental or site committees as needed.
