Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage at a medical facility. Start date is ASAP with 12 shifts per month, including day and night blocks. Epic is used for EMR, and ACLS/ATLS/BLS certifications are required by American Heart Association.

The position provides malpractice insurance coordination and a commitment to competitive pay plus travel and lodging support for contractors.

Qualifications

• ACLS, ATLS and BLS certifications are required (American Heart Association).
• Emergency Medicine Physician with locum tenens experience preferred.
• American Heart Association certifications required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage as locum tenens for the facility.
• Work 12 shifts per month, with day and night availability as scheduled.
• Collaborate with NP/PA coverage and other back-up services as needed.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Annual volume: 14,000 annuals
• Physician shift times: 14-16 shifts per month; Day and Night Shifts for July, Ongoing
• NP/PA Coverage: Physician Assistants (9a-9p, 11a-p)
• Back up specialties available: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, Operating Room Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) must be American Heart Association
