Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. Start ASAP with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, in a facility staffed with NP/PA support. Cerner EMR is used; ACLS is required; board certification or eligibility in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care in a high-volume ED.
• Shift coverage: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Coordinate with NP/PA coverage; on-site pulmonologist covers ICU as needed.

Emergency Medicine Physician

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physicianfor locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual Volume: Approximately 32 patients per physician per shift; overall ED census ~65
• Physician shift times: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• NP/PA Coverage: Yes; APC shifts are 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily, and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday & Monday
• Back up specialties available: Cardiology, General Surgery, GI, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/GYN, Pulmonology; on-site pulmonologist covers ICU (6 beds, open)
• EMR: Cerner
• Certifications required: ACLS required; Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM
