Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support. The role involves covering ED shifts (8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, 8pm-8am) for a facility with 10 ED beds and an annual volume of about 13,000. NP/PA support is available for morning and evening shifts. Certifications required include ABEM, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. RPMS EMR is used.

The incumbent will work with AMN's dedicated team for malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABEM, BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS certifications required.
• RPMS EMR used by the facility.
• Locum tenens support arrangement for the current need.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in ED per shifts (8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, 8pm-8am).
• Deliver patient care for an annual volume around 13,000 with 10 ED beds.
• Coordinate with NP/PA coverage for morning and evening shifts.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: 13,000 (10 beds in Emergency Department)
• Physician shift times: 8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, and 8pm-8am
• NP/PA Coverage: Yes, single Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant support for both morning and evening shifts
• Back up specialties available: None
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS
• Certifications required: Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
