AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Newburgh, IN. The shift times include 6p-3a and 10p-7a with 24/7 NP/PA coverage and back-up specialties available. Epic EMR is utilized, and board certification with ACLS/BLS/ATLS/PALS is required.

Annual volume is around 50,000 with a start date ASAP. AMN facilitates malpractice insurance and handles travel, lodging, rental, and transportation for contractors.

Qualifications

• Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS, Stroke Certification, and Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Experience in emergency medicine and ED operations is expected.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens emergency care in the ED for the assigned shift.
• Coordinate with NP/PA coverage for 24/7 patient care.
• Ensure adherence to ACLS/BLS/ATLS/PALS protocols and quality standards.
