Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need. Start date ASAP with regular 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, 8pm-8am). Annual volume around 13,000 across a 10-bed ED and RPMS EMR usage.

Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABEM is required, along with BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications. Malpractice insurance, travel and lodging arrangements, and dedicated support accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABEM.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications.
• Emergency Medicine physician with locum tenens experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage for assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff for patient care and throughput.
• Adhere to facility protocols and EMR documentation standards.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: 13,000 (10 beds in Emergency Department)
• Physician shift times: 8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, and 8pm-8am
• NP/PA Coverage: Yes, single Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant support for both morning and evening shifts
• Back up specialties available: None
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS
• Certifications required: Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
