AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Mason City, IA. The role includes 9- and 12-hour ED shifts (no call) in a hospital-based ED, with trauma and teaching responsibilities. EMR is Epic; expedited credentialing preferred to enable quick privileging.

Required: Iowa license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility, and ACLS/PALS/ATLS or EM board certification that may waive some requirements.

Competenze

• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required/advantageous.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine may waive certain prerequisites.
• Active licensure in Iowa or IMLC eligibility is required.

Emergency Medicine Physician

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Night 12;9 Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 9-hour and 12-hour Emergency Department shifts; no call

Practice Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department

Types of Cases: Emergency medicine, trauma, acute care, and teaching hospital emergency department coverage

Credentialing Timeframe: Expedited candidates preferred; must have straightforward work history for quick privileging

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support (required for trauma privileges), or Emergency Medicine board certification may waive Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support requirements

Licensure Required: Active Iowa license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility
