You will collaborate with providers, review clinical documentation, stay current with coding guidelines, and support reimbursement processes while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Certification as CPC/CCS/COC/RHIT or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hospital coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS.
• Review clinical documentation for accurate code selection.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure complete coding information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies and potential denial issues.
