Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Professional Coder to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II and modifiers for outpatient and professional services in a remote, United States-based role. You will review clinical documentation, ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines, and help maximize reimbursements while reducing denials.

The position requires AHIMA/AAPC certification, EPIC experience, 2-4 years of experience, and a flexible 20+ hour schedule Monday through Friday Pacific

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC/ CCS/ RHIT).
• EPIC experience required.
• 20+ hours per week, Mon-Fri between 6a-6p Pacific time (flexible).
• Temporary position through February 2027.
• Must pass a client coding assessment with 80%+ score.
• US-based candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II and modifiers for outpatient and professional services.
• Review clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance.
• Support appropriate reimbursement and minimize denials.
• Follow payer policies and official coding guidelines.
