The role requires adherence to DoD/HIPAA standards, strong prioritization under pressure, and ability to coordinate with clinical staff, ensuring timely patient processing and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience in a medical setting.
• U.S. citizenship and government credentialing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at the front desk and check in for encounters.
• Answer main office phone and route calls as needed.
• Schedule appointments and determine patient eligibility for services.
• Obtain documentation requested by healthcare providers.
• Process end-of-day tasks and resolve pending appointments.
• Maintain patient charts and input data in the electronic system.
