Job summary

Trans-Care Ambulance is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide emergency medical care and transportation within Indiana. You will work under the supervision of higher-certified staff, assist in non-emergency transport, and support a patient-first culture across ambulances and facilities.

The role requires Indiana EMT-Basic certification, CPR, a valid IN driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and a motor vehicle report. Teamwork and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.
• State of Indiana EMT-Basic Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Pass State of Indiana Criminal Background Check.
• Pass Indiana BMV Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Satisfactorily perform all EMT skills as designed by the Indiana EMS Commission curriculum.
• Work within Indiana scope of practice and Standard of Care.
• Respond to EMS calls as assigned by the communications center per policy.
• Follow Trans-Care procedures and maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per privacy policies and PHI rules.
• Report vehicle issues; complete necessary documentation and reports.
• Remain physically capable to perform lifting and other duties safely.
• Adhere to safety policies and perform duties with professionalism.
