Job summary

Trans-Care Ambulance seeks an EMT-Paramedic to deliver the highest level of medical care and transportation to patients in need. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient confidentiality, and compliance with Indiana/Kentucky regulations.

You will perform procedures per Indiana EMS Commission curriculum, transport patients from scene to hospital, and mentor junior staff while upholding Trans-Care’s standards of professionalism and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Valid IN State Driver’s License.
• State of Indiana and/or Kentucky EMT-Paramedic Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification.
• Pass Criminal Background Check.
• Pass BMV Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest level medical care and transportation.
• Follow Standard of Care Protocol and physician orders.
• Operate within Trans-Care’s policies and privacy rules.
• Maintain equipment operability before each shift.
• Precept Paramedics and EMT-Basic students as assigned.
• Report vehicle problems and maintain shift documentation.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality per PHI policies.
