Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks a Full-Time Emergency Medical Technician in Bedford, IN. You will respond to emergencies and transports, providing basic life support and immediate care at the scene and enroute to the hospital.

Required are Indiana EMT certification (or national with Indiana certification within 30 days), Basic Life Support, and a valid Indiana driver's license. Additional advanced life support may be required per unit policies.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED execution in mobile and hospital settings.
• Mandatory EMT certification (Indiana) or national with 30–day state certification window.
• BLS certification required; other life support certifications may be required per unit.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and MVR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and transports in a mobile emergency medical vehicle.
• Provide basic life support and scene care, and assist enroute to hospital.
• Perform non-invasive procedures and life-sustaining actions per department policies.
