Respond to emergency calls, transport patients to medical facilities, provide necessary care during transport, complete patient paperwork, and assist with equipment and patient movement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
• Current NYS EMT certification
• Current BCLS certification
• Valid New York State driver’s license (current and without violations)
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 125 lbs. (250 lbs. with assistance) and navigate various terrains
• Proficiency in operating electrocardiogram monitoring equipment and basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel)
• Strong customer service skills

Schedule

• Positions are located in hospitals and nursing homes, open 24/7
• Shift options include:
• Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)
• Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)
• Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
• Every other weekend work is typically required
