POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs professional and technical duties to render basic life support care in the emergency and non-emergency transportation setting.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
At least one year of experience in the pre-hospital or emergency transportation field.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
EMT-B certification issued by the National Registry OR states of NJ, PA, NY, DE, MD, VA, WV, or the District of Columbia, or any other member of the Atlantic EMS council.
Driver's License - current and valid driver's license with NJ driving privileges. Employees must adhere to all procedural guidelines in HR Policy 1-13, including demonstrating an acceptable driving record for the duration of employment as long as driving remains a job responsibility.
Highly adaptable with strong interpersonal skills. Sound written and verbal communication skills.
