Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Cedar Crest Village in New Jersey is seeking security professionals to patrol the property, staff the gatehouse, and respond to emergencies and routine calls. Available schedules include full-time 7:00am–7:00pm, 7:00pm–7:00am, or per diem/part-time shifts.

Must be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and have or obtain EMR/CPR certifications as required. Prior security or EMS experience is preferred; compensation ranges from $19.75 to $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proactive, vigilant and detail‑oriented with commitment to quality.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current EMR certification or higher; obtain EMR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care using basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS effectively during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system.

Available schedules: Full Time 7:00am - 7:00pm OR 7:00pm-7:00am OR Per Diem/Part Time.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred
• Proactive, vigilant and detail‑oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification (higher level certification/licensure is acceptable; new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days)

Compensation: $19.75-$24.00/hour
