Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services to lead security operations at our gated retirement community in New Jersey. The SES Supervisor oversees program compliance, quality assurance, investigations, training, and administrative support, delivering hospitality and a safe environment.

Available full-time Pitman schedules: 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am. EMT or EMR certification highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of demonstrated leadership in an Emergency Responder Supervisory role is required.
• 1+ years experience working in an Emergency Responder role
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• All required licenses and certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Ensure community security through gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and related programs.
• Monitor safety programs including department safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs, respirator fit testing, and others as needed.
• Collaborate with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans.
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and respond to calls for service.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
• Establishes schedules, reviews and approves timesheets, completes performance evaluations.
• Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports

We are hiring a Supervisor of Security and Emergency Services for our gated retirement community. The SES Supervisor is responsible for providing assistance in the areas of program/procedural compliance, quality assurance/quality improvement, investigations, training, and administrative support. The Security and Emergency Services Supervisor delivers exceptional customer service and hospitality and fosters an environment of safety and security.

How You Will Make An Impact
