Job summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a dependable EMT to join our clinical team in a clinic-based setting outside of ambulance or ED environments. You will work with providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic.

Ideal candidates hold current EMT and CPR/BLS certifications, exhibit strong communication, and be adaptable to a busy urgent care environment. Full-time and part-time options with competitive pay are available.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens.
• Perform EKGs and other clinical testing as trained.
• Assist with wound care, splinting, and other urgent care procedures.
• Administer medications and injections when permitted by training, clinic policy, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and maintain infection-control standards.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Assist with patient flow to keep visits efficient.
• Maintain clinical supplies and restock rooms.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.
• Work collaboratively with providers, MAs, front desk staff, and other clinic team members.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Urgent Care

AFC Urgent Care is looking for a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our clinical team.

This is a great opportunity for an EMT who enjoys hands-on patient care but is looking for a clinic-based position outside of the traditional ambulance or emergency department setting.

Position Overview

As an EMT at AFC Urgent Care, you will work alongside our medical providers and clinical team to help deliver efficient, high-quality care to patients of all ages. Our clinics are fast-paced, team-oriented environments where EMTs play an important role in both patient care and clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens

Schedule

Our urgent care clinics are open seven days a week. Candidates should have some availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on clinic staffing needs.
