Job summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a dependable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our clinical team in a clinic-based setting. You will work closely with medical providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, examinations support, point-of-care testing, EKGs, wound care, and medication administration as trained. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens.
• Conduct EKGs and other clinical tests as trained.
• Assist with wound care and urgent care procedures.
• Administer medications and injections per policy and training.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Document information in the EMR accurately.
• Support patient flow and restock clinics.
