Qualifications

• Must have current, valid Drivers License.
• Motivated in providing optimum emergency medical services to the communities served by MedStar.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Able to be decisive, responsible, and work well with others in a team environment.
• Certified EMERGENCY MEDICAL DISPATCHER (EMS) through Medical Priority Dispatch, or successfully complete 24 hours certification course.
• Must be currently certified in CPR, and maintain such certification at all times.
• Must be multi-tasking and adaptable to frequent changes in policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the President of the Company or the Dispatch Manager.
• Maintain all necessary certification and license requirements while working in telecommunications.
