Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking a Coord Emergency Management to support its comprehensive emergency management program, focusing on mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college/university.
• Required: FAEM or AEM certification within 4 years.
• 5 years of experience in emergency management, incident coordination, or related fields.
• Experience with logistics coordination and emergency operations.
• Preferred: knowledge of industry groups and mutual aid networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain all-hazards emergency response plans, SOPs, training materials, and assignments.
• Lead emergency activations and coordinate response across Logistics, Operations, and Planning.
• Manage inventory, resources, and vendor relations for emergency services and commodities.
• Coordinate training programs, participate in drills, and promote NIMS/ICS compliance.
• Maintain records, dashboards, and briefing materials for leadership.
