Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Emergency Management Specialist – Project Manager to join the team in the Sacramento area, focusing on large-scale critical infrastructure programs. The role combines project management with hands-on technical delivery, client coordination, and field engagement across Northern California.

The ideal candidate has senior-level experience in emergency management and resilience services for critical infrastructure, with strong knowledge of FEMA frameworks and related planning

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior-level experience delivering emergency management and resilience services for critical infrastructure systems.
• Proven ability to manage projects and support programmatic delivery efforts with scope, schedule, and budget responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of ICS, NIMS, SEMS, HSEEP, and continuity planning principles.

Responsibilities

• Programmatic Emergency Management Delivery for large, ongoing contracts.
• Project Management and Delivery Oversight of emergency management and resilience projects.
• Client Interface and Stakeholder Engagement with Northern California clients and partners.
• Technical Contribution to high-quality deliverables including EOPs, EAPs, COOPs, and exercises.
• Infrastructure integration and cross-practice collaboration across engineering and asset management.
