Washington Military Department is seeking an experienced Emergency Management Program Specialist 2 to provide professional level support for emergency logistics and mutual aid. You will work under the Logistics Program Supervisor to develop and deliver programs across statewide agencies.

The role involves coordinating with state and federal partners, training staff, and supporting COOP and SEOC activities during emergencies in a civilian capacity.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Emergency Management Program Specialist 1.
• Bachelor's degree AND two years of professional level experience in emergency management or related areas.
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the education requirement; master's may substitute for one year.

Responsabilités

• Develop statewide emergency plans and procedures for emergency logistics and mutual aid.
• Coordinate with federal partners, state agencies and local jurisdictions on logistics plans.
• Implement strategies to achieve program objectives and train personnel on logistics processes.
• Support EMAC and PNEMA procedures and statewide emergency operations.
• Assist in COOP planning and SEOC operations during emergencies.
