Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE) in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking an Emergency Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for day shift. You will work with ER doctors and a skilled team to deliver fast, compassionate care to critically ill patients. Qualifications

• Active LVT credential required.
• Minimum of 1 year ER or specialty experience.
• Strong technical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical skills including IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and patient stabilization.
• Triage incoming ER patients and assist in prioritizing care based on medical urgency.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes promptly to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to detail.
• Support emergency procedures and diagnostics with confidence and efficiency.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients during high-stress situations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure treatments are properly documented.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled ER and specialty team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Take initiative in workflow, patient advocacy, and team support.
