California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking a Coordinator, Law Enforcement to lead mutual aid coordination across law enforcement, homeland security, and related agencies. The role emphasizes independent decision making during complex emergencies to protect lives and property, and to support communities throughout California.

You will implement and coordinate the State's Law Enforcement Mutual Aid Plan, advise local agencies, and assist in coordinating emergency law

Responsibilities

• Mutual aid coordination and planning across law enforcement, homeland security, search and rescue, coroner, and other contexts.
• Coordination and participation in emergency exercises and training events.
• Liaison and coordination with federal, state, local law enforcement, private sector entities, and non-governmental organizations.
• Information collection and sharing.
• Providing advice to federal, state, and local agencies on best practices and on the state’s role and responsibilities in emergency and mutual aid response.
