MedVet seeks a Nursing Clinical Supervisor to lead the Veterinary Nursing team in our fast-paced emergency and specialty environment. • Prior veterinary experience required; emergency experience preferred.
• Proficient in drug calculations and infusions, unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager.
• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s).
• Collaborates with other departments to meet patient and client needs.
• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift.
• Manages Clinical Services team during shift, including staffing and breaks.
• Assigns responsibilities per shift and addresses process issues.
• Communicates schedule changes and performance concerns to Clinical Manager.
• Acts as first-level responder to client concerns and drug escalations.
• Trains and mentors new team members.
• Provides input on team performance evaluations.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities and meetings.
