Job summary

St. Matthew’s House in Naples, FL seeks a dedicated Program Staff member to support the Emergency Housing program, handling daily tasks and ensuring compliance with guidelines.

You must be organized, patient, and capable of conflict resolution while maintaining strong communication with residents and teammates. Responsibilities include shift coverage, accurate CMS entries, hygiene and safety checks, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience with addiction and mental health is a plus.
• Familiar with HIPAA laws and patient confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication; respectful teamwork.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work varied shifts including second/third shifts and weekends.
• Enter accurate documentation into the CMS.
• Maintain residents’ living areas per Shelter guidelines.
• Perform random bed and security checks as required.
• Administer random drug screens on residents as needed.
• Screen individuals entering the shelter after hours with care.
• Collaborate with staff to complete assigned tasks.
• Uphold shelter guidelines and mission values; share Gospel when appropriate.
